(ANSA) - SAN GIOVANNI LA PUNTA, June 28 - An alleged organization accused of managing drug trafficking and dealing, in particular marijuana and cocaine, in San Giovanni LaPunta and in the nearby Etna villages was defeated by the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Catania.
Military personnel have carried out a precautionary custody order, issued by the investigating magistrate, against 17 suspects.

Among the suppliers of the association, the figure of a clean criminal emerged, who has a son in custody and in business with the top of the criminal organization, and who, according to the accusation, would have used the premises of the patronage café he managed in the center of Catania to carry out drug deliveries.
