Fires in Rome: 9 active fires, 350 firefighters engaged

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 28 - 9 interventions for vegetation fires affecting the territory of Rome and its province are underway at 8 this morning.

350 firefighters are employed, including reinforcements from Abruzzo, Campania, Tuscany, Umbria.

Since yesterday, of the 406 total interventions carried out by the command, 193 have been for vegetation fires.
