For the information of the bathers: A black snake was observed swimming in the Sea of Galilee
Did the snakes also reach the Sea of Galilee?
This is how it looks anyway in a video uploaded to Tiktok two days ago, in which a snake, probably a non-venomous black rage, is seen swimming in the blue water of the lake

The fact that snakes know how to swim is nothing new, but the following event is not seen every day: a long black snake swims in the waters of the Sea of Galilee and was documented by the occupants of a boat, next to which it passed while meandering in the water.
The video, which was uploaded to the Tiktok social network two days ago by surfer Amit Hayun, has already received 54,000 views and more than 4,000 comments.
"You do not enter the Sea of Galilee alive. This is it," wrote surfer Yubi, while surfer AMEER.450 wrote: "A snake is very good for nature, it is not venomous, does not attack people, its job is to eat venomous snakes to maintain balance in nature."
In any case, this is not the first time a snake has been observed swimming in the waters of the Sea of Galilee.
In 2013 we reported on Walla!
On a venomous viper snake, documented swimming in a lake.
In July two years ago we published a record of a viper that swam in the Valley of the Springs.
