An electric scooter rider was hit by a truck this morning (Tuesday) on Sderot Moshe Dayan in Rishon Lezion.
MDA medics and paramedics arrived at the scene and gave the wounded, a 20-year-old man, medical treatment, and then evacuated him to Assaf Harofeh Hospital in critical condition, with a head injury.

Senior MDA paramedic Hagai Netani: "The rider of the scooter who was hit by the truck was trapped under it, and rescued by civilians who were at the scene.
He was unconscious and suffered severe injuries to his upper body.
We immediately began medical treatment that included fixations and medication, and evacuated him in a difficult and stable condition for further treatment at the hospital. "
In February, a 14-year-old boy was injured in a similar situation after falling from an electric scooter in the Upper Galilee.
In early June, a 13-year-old man was killed in an accident in Petah Tikva while riding an electric scooter and was hit by a vehicle, and a day later, a 30-year-old resident of Petah Tikva was injured in a similar manner - and was also killed.
