Tennis: Wimbledon, Serena Williams eliminated

   Serena Williams, who returned to play today in the women's singles one year after her last appearance, was eliminated in the first round of the Wimbledon tournament (where she was able to participate thanks to a 'wild card').

    To beat the American ex world number 1 was the 24-year-old Frenchman Harmony Tan, who won 7-5 1-6 7-6 (10-7) in 3 hours and 10 minutes of play.

    Williams took the field with a black patch split in half on her face, as already during the two doubles matches played in Eastbourne paired with Tunisian Ons Jabeur.
