“We were supposed to arrive turnkey, calm, without asking questions.
And we all find ourselves in a situation where everything will be destroyed, ”laments Barbara Sonn.
Like 19 other owners of the new Parc en Seine housing estate, built on the former grounds of the Mureaux printing works, this 47-year-old mother will have to pack her bags by 2026.
All the pavilions of this new subdivision will have to be demolished and then rebuilt over the next four years, at least.

Some houses at the bottom of the street were erected 94 centimeters too low compared to the building permit issued by the town hall in an area located in a flood risk prevention plan (PPRI).
"We are flooded in our gardens, in our garages, the water does not drain properly", slips Barbara Sonn.
“When it rains, all that is filled with water, points out her neighbor, Catherine Gourdet, it makes a pond, we could put ducks there.
There hasn't been any flooding for a very long time, but when you see what's happening now, with global warming, it's very worrying, ”laments this single mother of three grown children.
“I don't understand how we can be abandoned like that, that we come across promoters who don't give a damn about putting 20 families in such painful situations”, storms Barbara Sonn.
Like her neighbour, she expects the town hall to provide clear rehousing solutions and support commensurate with their difficulties: “We want answers, we want help, we want support”.
