VIDEO. “Recommended” mask in transport: “They should never have taken it off!”

Faced with the rise in Covid-19 cases, the Minister of Health urged “citizen responsibility (…) to avoid additional hospital tension” concerning the wearing of masks in public transport.

Asked about a possible return of health measures, Brigitte Bourguignon excludes "for the moment" any binding measure judging that at this stage, "the current measures are sufficient if everyone gets started".

For their part, users have already made their arrangements.

"I wear a mask all the time to protect myself and others" underlines Viviane just before going through the turnstiles of line 6. Against Covid-19 in the metro, she has her technique: "I manage not to not be in the crowd, I stay up in order to stay away from people who do not wear the mask.
