With its Lidl Liddle Club, the discount giant wants to appeal to specific customers.
The new feature of the Lidl Plus app is aimed at parents.
NRW – Lidl customers who regularly use the Lidl Plus app for shopping may have already seen the new feature.
According to its own statement, Lidl now wants to accompany its customers with the new "Liddle Club" during pregnancy, through the birth of the baby to the child's seventh birthday.
Accordingly, not all consumers will benefit from the planned campaigns of the discounter giant.

Lidl: Discounter sets up the Lidl Liddle Club for parents with babies and small children
Especially designed for families, the discounter giant has now introduced the free "Lidl Liddle Club".
According to Lidl, expectant parents and families with small children can secure several advantages.
According to the Baden-Württemberg group, these include a “free welcome box” that is given as a gift at the birth or on the child’s first or second birthday.
According to familie.de
, the colorful free gift box should contain
care products, clothing and other surprises.
If the child is already one or two years old, the box should contain care products and toys for the baby.
Alternatively, Lidl can also give the member a Lidl discount voucher, the discounter explains on its website, as reported by RUHR24.
Lidl Liddle Club entices parents with gifts and coupons for everyday baby life
If parents-to-be or parents with babies opt for a "Liddle Club" membership, the one-time gift box also includes savings options such as coupons for diapers, baby snacks, baby food and care products.
Thanks to regular tips and tricks for everyday baby life sent out in the newsletter, the discounter wants to help parents and convince them of Lidl products for babies.

Childless Lidl customers can of course use the Lidl Plus app as usual, but they cannot benefit from the advantages of a Liddle Club membership.
According to
familie.de
, club membership is worthwhile “especially for single parents, solo parents or families with several children” as well as pregnant mothers and new parents.

There, interested parties can register as a club member under the "Lidl Liddle Club" tab and provide information about the upcoming due date, the baby's birthday and other data.
Once registered, you will then receive all the information about the free gift box, discount campaigns, coupons, etc.
The registration can take place at the latest on the second birthday and the cancellation can be made at any time without giving reasons.
As
familie.de
reports, Lidl is not a pioneer with the gift box, after all, drugstores such as Dm and Rossmann have had such baby welcome clubs for a long time.
