The CFDT is back on the offensive.
The first trade union center in France has decided to put pressure on Olivier Dussopt, the new Minister of Labour, to convince him to return to the social dialogue component in companies of the 2017 work orders. Recently and triumphantly re-elected for a fourth term in the head of the union, Laurent Berger never refrains from repeating that the ordinances, supposed to streamline relations between employers and employee representatives, have “
missed their target
” on this point.
And he's not the only one to think so.
By merging the representative bodies - staff delegate (DP), works council (EC) and health, safety and working conditions committee (CHSCT) - to create the social and economic committee (CSE), the texts then carried by Muriel Pénicaud succeeded in the tour de force of achieving union unity against them.
