Full bins and boxes that are not made small.
There's always trouble with the blue paper bin - enough for a local resident.
In the neighborly community there are always
frictions and disputes
.
They are often swept under the carpet until there is a bigger bang.
The problems are different: Sometimes it's children screaming in the night, sometimes outbursts of anger from a quarreling couple - the negative examples of togetherness are then often shared.
First, exasperated residents vented themselves with
notes
that they hung up in the hallway.
Then the letters end up on
, where they reach many people.
The Instagram account
notesofberlin likes
to share such letters.

In particular, packages that are not made small ensure that the bins are always full.

Garbage problem: residents shoot at "young neighbors" - irony meets stereotypes
People are getting more and more from different online shops.
Above all, this means that many boxes end up in the garbage.
Many houses and flat-sharing communities have purchased a
blue bin
for this purpose, among other things .
It usually fills up very quickly and there is always a reason to get upset.
That's probably what happened in a household in Berlin.
A
local resident
blames the
young people
in his house for the overflowing bins.
With rhetorical, sometimes exaggerated questions
, he vents his anger on a notice
: "So if larger containers for more paper waste cost more money per collection, then it's smart to think that the guys from the BSR
(Berliner Stadtreinigung, editor’s note)
simply accept the mountain on the overfilled bin?”
The entire note is dripping with irony paired with stereotypes about hip young people in Berlin.
But that can easily be transferred to people from other cities.
There can be problems with the blue bin anywhere.
"They also have to tilt the barrel so that it rolls - and our way to the road is very bumpy... what will happen there?
Right!
In line with this, a picture was also shared on Instagram in which the paper waste lies on the side of the road.
“YOU will never know that”: local residents get upset about young people
According to the note, hard work is not for young people who “buy their spelled bread at Denn's”.
Because young people might not even know “where the problem lies”.
The criticism of those who do not dispose of the paper properly is more than clear in the partly evil undertones and one-sided formulation of the flower.
The formulations are also met with incomprehension on Instagram.

“How condescending can you write something like that” – Instagram users get upset
The post received various comments on Instagram, some were upset about the
wording
, while others also had problems with the blue bin in their neighborhood.
Some also find it unusual that the paper waste in Berlin is subject to a fee.
The comments, which are upset about the type of wording, are currently more readable.
"Anyone who writes something like this has
disqualified themselves from any factual discussion
, no matter how justified the criticism may otherwise be," says an Instagram user.
A few likes and a comment agree with his assessment.
Others focus more on the problem of the full bin.
There are mainly
cardboard boxes
The problem: "Well, if you can't unfold a box... Then of course it doesn't fit in the bin," writes one user.
A few comments jump on the bandwagon of criticizing the younger generation, comparing the letter to Twitter's character limit.
Accordingly, the letter is too long: "Why do they think that the 'boys' will read such a long time?
That thing is longer than 120 characters.” No matter what the reaction to the note on Instagram is, the problem with the garbage can will certainly not be solved overnight.
