2022-06-30T13:45:24.114Z

If you live in Ile-de-France, it is better to hit the road this Friday before noon to avoid slowdowns or even traffic jams. Sell

The summer holidays are (almost) here, and many French people are getting ready to pack their bags to hit the road.

Bison smart alert on the risk of traffic jams.

> In terms of departures, Friday 1 July is classified as orange nationally and red in Île-de-France.

In the Paris region, traffic will be heavy towards the toll gates of the A10 and A6 motorways, where the first slowdowns could be recorded there from the end of the morning.

The ring road and the A86 and A6b motorways will also be affected by these difficulties.

In the middle of the afternoon, the combination of work-home journeys and weekend departures, numerous during this period, could make traffic very difficult until late in the evening.

Bison smart advises leaving or crossing Île-de-France before noon.

Elsewhere, it is not recommended to leave metropolitan areas and their outskirts between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Better to avoid the A10 motorway between Orléans and Poitiers, from 8 am to 7 pm;

the A63 between Bordeaux and Bayonne, from 4 to 7 p.m.;

the A7 between Lyon and Orange, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and between Orange and Marseille, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.;
