(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 30 - 95 vulnerable people forced to flee their country, including children, women victims of trafficking, survivors of violence and torture and people in serious health conditions, left Libya tonight, headed for Fiumicino, identified by UNHCR in Libya, also on the recommendation of the Community of Sant'Egidio and the Federation of Evangelical Churches.
It is the third flight - a note from the Farnesina reads - in implementation of a protocol signed in April 2021 by the Ministries of the Interior and Foreign Affairs, Unhacr, the Community of Sant'Egidio, the Federation of Evangelical Churches in Italy and the Waldensian Table.
