Green coverings such as moss are particularly stubborn and make even the most beautiful garden appear unkempt.
These home remedies remove it.
Green is usually welcome in the garden - but what if it
also reaches the floor of the terrace, balcony or sidewalk in the form of
moss ?
But to remove moss, you don't have to resort to chemical agents.
There are proven
home remedies
.

First the good news: moss is not harmful and rather valuable, as microorganisms and insects live in it.
However, most still see it as annoying.
Moss collects more
between joints
and less on the surface, since there is a lot of moisture in the cracks and they only get little sun and air.
The lush green can become dangerous if there is a lot of moss and under the right weather conditions it turns
into a carpet of slides
.
If you don't want to spend money on a high-pressure cleaner, you can use the following home remedies to remove the unwelcome green:
Cola : The
phosphoric acid
contained in the soft drink
decomposes moss after a while.
However, you should not apply cola to large areas, as discolouration can occur.
Soft soap
: Since it is biodegradable, you can confidently use the soap on large areas and also on more sensitive materials.
Mixed with water, the result is an effective agent that
can be applied and distributed with a
toothbrush .
Vinegar or salt water
: Not only can you easily remove limescale and dirt with vinegar, moss also disappears when you use the acid.
The whole thing has a catch: The use on paving stones or sealed surfaces is completely prohibited under the
Plant
Protection Act, as is the use of salt, since both agents can change the pH value and are considered plant protection agents.

Moss can also be
removed from concrete and stone slabs
with flames .
By burning it completely and then sweeping it away, you can get rid of the problem in no time.
The prerequisite for this, however, is that it has been dry for at least two days at a time, otherwise the green will not burn away properly.
However, this method is not recommended for larger areas, as the
risk
of fire should not be underestimated.
