Rustic, authentic and almost pristine

The most sought-after holiday destinations in Italy are still: Rome, Milan and Venice, where in recent years Florence, located in the picturesque region of Tuscany, has captured the hearts of millions of tourists, some would say under the influence of the global bestseller "Genius Company".

Now, another region of the country, rural, authentic and almost pristine from the influences of tourism, comes to mind - the province of Emilia-Romagna, located in the northern part of the boot country, between the Po River in the north and the Apennines in the south.

Emilia-Romagna is one of the richest and largest provinces in Italy.

Its branch of agriculture is one of the most advanced in the world, the natural scenery in all its shades expands the heart as among all this green-green, the fortified castles, ancient buildings and vast vineyards are magically integrated.

The Balsamic Vinegar and the Ferrari Museum

Bologna, is the capital of the province of Emilia-Romagna and home to the first university in the world.

It is well located between Venice (north) and Florence (south), offers city street life and yet, tourists see it as a marginal destination perhaps due to the temptations offered by the immediate surroundings.

The thermal water industry from the Roman period

On our last visit we discovered that in addition to all the good that Italy has to offer, the province of Emilia-Romagna boasts a developed industry of thermal water sources with medicinal properties that rise hundreds and thousands of meters underground to the surface.

Natural baths and spas have been known among the locals since Roman times, and now they also offer thermal holidays for tourists who want to combine pampering spa experiences during their vacation.
