Victoria Beckham slams presenter Chris Evans for once forcing her to weigh herself on TV

In the Australian edition of Vogue, Victoria Beckham says she was weighed live by the British host in 1999, to attest to her weight loss after giving birth.


In the next issue of the Australian edition of

Vogue

magazine , Victoria Beckham returned to a moment of television that was surprising and embarrassing to say the least, lived in the late 1990s. Invited on May 28, 1999 in the program "TF1 Friday" , hosted by British Chris Evans and broadcast on Channel 4, the Spice Girls member was encouraged by the host to weigh herself live.

The goal?

Attesting to her weight loss a few weeks after the birth of her first child Brooklyn Beckham, reports the

"50 kilos isn't bad at all, isn't it?"

On the set of the show, Victoria Beckham is questioned by the host about her appearance.

"I had just had Brooklyn and I lost a lot of weight afterwards," she says.

The facilitator then asks her: “a lot of girls want to know, because you are fantastic again, how did you find your shape after birth?”.

Victoria Beckham responds that she is lazy and hasn't been to the gym.

Chris Evans insists: "Is your weight back to normal?", "Can I check, do you mind?".

The presenter then made him stand on a scale and said to him: "50 kilos, it's not bad at all, isn't it?".

The media's obsession with her body

In the 2000s, Victoria Beckham reported that the media was obsessed with her figure.

“I got different nicknames such as 'Posh Piglet' or even 'Skeletal Posh'.

After I had Brooklyn, there was a photo pointing to every part of my body I needed to focus on to lose weight."
