Crime Story, the "Parisian" video series devoted to miscellaneous facts, episode 18. Sentenced in Germany for the murder of three children,

And if all the gray areas of the sordid criminal course of Martin Ney had not yet been lifted?

Convicted in 2012, this fifty-something German, former educator, is serving a life sentence in Germany for the murder of three children, committed between 1992 and 2001, and dozens of sexual assaults on minors.

But is the list of these very young victims really complete?

Justice, in particular French, wonders.

She has been trying, since April 2004, to shed light on the kidnapping and death of Jonathan, 10 years old, kidnapped in the night from a holiday center in Saint-Brévin-les-Pins (Loire-Atlantique), and whose body had been found in a pond in Guérande a few weeks later.

A procedure similar to that of Martin Ney.

Confidences in prison, according to a fellow prisoner

But it is above all the statements, repeated and detailed, in 2017, of a fellow prisoner of Martin Ney which will particularly accentuate the attention of the investigators on the German killer.

This fellow prisoner indeed affirms that Martin Ney confessed to him on several occasions to have abused and killed a child in France.

Charges that Ney has always categorically denied.

But certain elements appearing in the testimony of the co-detainee, compared to certain details of the investigation, only reinforced the interest of the investigators.

And, in early 2021, almost 17 years after Jonathan's death, Martin Ney was indicted for "murder of a minor under 15 and arrest, kidnapping and forcible confinement, or arbitrary embezzlement of minors under 15 year ".
