The proliferation of summer flights also brings with it less pleasant behaviors among passengers.
For example, this passenger in the Emirates company, who only started flying to Israel last week, who could not control herself and put her feet on the seat of the passenger in front of her, with her shoes almost touching the passenger's head.
A passenger named Paul Stotthard who was on the flight from Dubai to London, uploaded to his Twitter account documentation of the wayward passenger.
Amazingly, the cabin crew did not say a word and the passenger slept like that for a while on the flight.
Although such behavior is inappropriate in flight and is considered rude, it is even more offensive in airlines belonging to the Middle East, such as the emirate company, where it is not customary to present the feet and such an act is considered an insult.
Paul admitted that he did not comment to the passenger because he expected the passenger sitting in front of her to say something, or for the cabin crew to politely intervene.
Instead, he admits he took "standard peeking combined with poignant glances" in an attempt to make her realize her mistake, but the passenger continued to mature for an hour.

Feet are considered an insult in Arab culture
In Arab culture, the sole of a foot or shoe is considered dirty because it is strained on the ground, and because it is the lowest part of the body.
Hitting someone with the shoe means that it is someone worthless and despicable.
This was the case when Iraqis hit Saddam Hussein's statue in their shoes when he was overthrown in 2003.
Reactions to Paul's tweet were not long in coming.
One man tweeted that the woman did nothing wrong and may have a medical condition that required lifting her legs, although Paul replied that the most obvious condition is "one gin and tonic too many."
