(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 01 - Assault on a security carrier this morning in Rome.

A group of bandits, shortly before 8, targeted an armored vehicle in via Anteo in the Casilina area.

A shooting ensued, one of the security guards was injured but she would not be in danger of life.

The robbers managed to get some money out of the vehicle before escaping.

Police and Mobile agents on the spot.
