The transmissibility index and incidence of Covid cases is still increasing: in the period 7-20 June, the average Rt calculated on symptomatic cases was equal to 1.30 (range 1.06-1.56), an increase compared to 1.07 of the previous week and beyond the epidemic threshold.

Jump in the weekly incidence at the national level: 763 per 100,000 inhabitants for the period 24-30 June against the previous figure of 504 per 100 thousand (17-23 June).

This is highlighted by the weekly ISS-Ministry of Health monitoring on the progress of the Covid-19 epidemic.

The employment rate in intensive care rises to 2.6% (Ministry of Health daily survey as of June 30) compared to 2.2% (Ministry of Health daily survey as of June 23).

The employment rate in medical areas at the national level rises to 10.3% (daily survey by the Ministry of Health as at 30 June) compared to 7.9% (daily survey by the Ministry of Health as at 23 June). 

No Region and Autonomous Province (PA) is classified as low risk even this week

.

Thirteen Regions / PAs are at moderate risk, while the Regions / PAs classified as high risk drop from 9 to 8 due to the presence of multiple resilience alerts;

three of these are highly likely to progress.

Twenty Regions / PAs report at least one single resilience alert;

8 Regions / PAs report multiple resilience alerts.
