(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 01 - "Are you afraid of a hot autumn? Autumn is already hot, people can't make it right now, immediate action is needed. Structural reforms are needed. There is the problem of what to put in the budget law because it is not the moment of one-offs but of structural interventions ", warned CGIL leader, Maurizio Landini, in the confrontation 'Il lavorointerroga' organized today by the union with politics.
Fighting precariousness?
"We need to change the wrong laws that have been made. It is time to establish a single employment contract aimed at stability".
Wage depletion?
"There is only one solution: increase them.
If we go in the direction of cutting the wedge, everything must be in favor of the workers ", but if" cutting contributions to increase wages means not having a decent pension then there is a problem. "The tax reform?" The tax delegation that was discussed does not convince us, we do not think that the scheme to make a reform ". The minimum wage? For the CGIL the road is" to give an erga omnes validity to contracts by law, and this also means making a law on representation to see who signs the contracts .
This would extend not only minimal but also all contractual rights ". (ANSA).
