Palermo officially enters the galaxy of clubs controlled by the City Football Group.
Today, in a Milanese notary's office, Dario Mirri and the managers of the fund that also owns Manchester City have signed agreements for the sale of 80% of the Viale del Fante company to the fund headed by Sheikh Mansour.
The rosanero club, which has not yet announced the transfer of ownership of the club, has however already called a press conference for Monday at 11 am in the Renzo Barbera stadium, to illustrate "the new corporate structure of the club".
The details of the agreement should be those leaked in recent days: Mirri will remain president with 20 percent of the club's shares and sold the remaining 80 percent for about 13 million plus bonuses on achieving administrative and corporate goals.
While in Milan the future of the club was being put on paper at the "Barbera" stadium, a transfer meeting was underway between the sporting director Renzo Castagnini, the Palermo coach Silvio Baldini and Luciano Zavagno, former Argentine defender in charge of the City observers Football Group.
The sporting season of the new Palermo just promoted to Serie B will begin on 10 July with the start of the training camp which will take place in Boccadifalco.
