Lady Diana would have been 61 years old, this Friday, July 1, 2022. Died in a car accident in Paris, in 1997, her relatives and all of England are still mourning her death today.
Thus, on the occasion of her birthday, her son, Prince William, (who was 15 when she died), revived her memory in a letter written to the winner of the Diana Prize, rewarding the actions and humanitarian work of the young people, between 9 and 25 years old.

Prince William is not the only one to have paid tribute to the Princess of Wales.
Her brother, Charles Spencer, also took to Instagram to say a few words.
The latter shared a photo of the commemorative plaque of Lady Diana, installed in a London park.
"I was walking through a park in London yesterday when I suddenly came across this on the way - one of many that line the capital's neighborhoods, in memory of Diana," he captioned.
“Amazing to think of the lasting impact of a woman who died so young.
Today - 25 years later - she would have been 61.
