(ANSA) - TURIN, 02 JUL - Two precautionary custody orders were carried out this morning by the carabinieri for a crime, considered a revenge of the 'Ndrangheta, committed eighteen years ago in the Turin area.
The case, on which the Ris di Parma worked using new scientific methods of investigation, is that of Giuseppe Gioffrè, killed on 11 July 2004 in San Mauro, just outside the Piedmontese capital.
The victim was originally from Sant'Eufemia d'Aspromonte (Reggio Calabria) and resided in the country.
The motive is to be found in a feud dating back to the 1960s.
