Fortnite: 5 hidden features in Season 3 - Reality seedlings can do more than expected
Legendary Reality Seedlings Are More Worthwhile:
One of the big new additions to Fortnite Season 3 are the reality seedlings that drop loot.
In addition, weapons have been added in the new mythical rarity.
How to get mythical loot from reality seedlings in Fortnite will be shown in another article.
But you should consider not improving your seedlings beyond legendary loot.
As long as the tree drops legendary loot, there will continue to be legendary weapons.
Mythic Seedlings, on the other hand, immediately reset their rarity to uncommon once harvested.
More loot from reality saplings through weeds:
Once a reality sapling in Fortnite is ready to level up a rarity, weeds will gather around the plant.
But if you remove the weeds immediately and only then collect the fruits, you can lose a whole load of loot.
It is best to harvest the seedling before the weeds disappear.
By removing the grasses and increasing the rarity, the fruit will grow back immediately, so the seedling can be harvested twice in a row.

Fruits grow back through shield sprinklers:
If you need even more loot, you can use another trick to harvest fruits from the reality seedling even more often.
Just as Boozepacks and Shield Sprinklers can heal the character, they also empower reality seedlings.
Using a Shield Sprinkler or four Saufpacks on the seedling will regrow the fruit so it can be harvested again.
Fortnite: 5 Hidden Features in Season 3 - Healing and High Jumps
Slurp-Bouncer Mushrooms Can Heal:
Along with the large reality tree, a new biome with giant blue mushrooms has appeared on the map in Season 3 of Fortnite.
Among these mushrooms, smaller specimens sometimes stand out, which can launch the character into the air, practically like a small trampoline.
What's even better about these little mushrooms is their blue glow, indicating they'll give a small boost of healing or shield when jumped on.

Double jumps for quick dismounts:
Finally, a tip for mobility in the game.
With the start of Season 3, it became possible to ride wild animals like wolves and boars in Fortnite.
Basically, the feature is already practical because it shortens longer walking distances and you can still shoot further from the animals' backs.
It is possible that the means of transport in Fortnite will soon be supplemented by a skateboard.
But the way you can gain height while riding is also practical.
If you jump in the air with the animal and jump again, you will push yourself off the mount and can get an enormous boost up again.
Reminds a bit of the Yoshi jumps in Super Mario World.
