(ANSA-AFP) - ROME, JUL 02 - An Italian entrepreneur, RaphaelAlessandro Tunesi, owner of a luxury hotel in the Mexican state of Chiapas in the south of the country, was shot dead on Friday in Palenque, where he lived.
Local authorities have communicated it.
Tunesi was killed on his way to pick up his daughters from school, the prosecutor said.
Police "found him inside a vehicle with several gunshot wounds."
The entrepreneur, owner of the luxury hotel Quinta Chanabnal, in Palenque, had lived in Chiapas for several years and was considered an expert on Mayan culture.
