"You're going to love Ludo, he's crazy!
While attending the opening of Garorock on Thursday evening, everyone told us about Ludovic Larbodie, the founder and director of the festival which is celebrating its 25th birthday until July 3 in Marmande (Lot-et-Garonne).
They didn't sell us dreams.
This jovial bearded man could have welcomed us in his dressing room with an unobstructed view of the immense plain where three stages, a fairground and dozens of food stalls coexist.
He preferred to meet us the next day at noon at the Ricard dome, at the entrance to his campsite, which is to welcome 40,000 revelers this weekend.
He was waiting for us in a flowered shirt and Bermuda shorts sitting at a table with young people from the Lot to whom he had just offered a bottle and with whom he was toasting “at Garo and an aperitif”.
