(ANSA) - PERUGIA, 02 JUL - A 57-year-old worker died today afternoon in Perugia following an accident at work that took place in Ponte San Giovanni at the headquarters of Umbra Acque, for which he worked.
According to the reconstruction provided by the carabinieri, he was crushed by the collapse of a wall while driving a truck.
The vehicle - reported the military - was carrying an excavator which, due to causes under investigation, hitting the wall of a building caused its detachment.
Carabinieri from the local station, staff of 118 and ASL intervened.
