If it seems that the Instagram torch looks more and more like 50 shades of butterflies, you are not wrong.

The colorful insect trend is with us again and challenges the taste buds (fashionable) of us all courtesy of leading fashionistas and influencers from around the globe, as well as in our local swamp, who are taking the trend to the end and a little beyond.

From the conservative but daring 1930s courtesy of

Elsa Schiaparelli

's repetitive butterfly prints , through the iconic look of a

at the 1974 Grammys, to the early 2000s when

Mariah Carey appeared in

Emanuel Ungro

's famous rhyming butterfly top

(A motif that has since become associated with her) - it seems that the fashion world remains obsessed with the flying creature.

And in the summer of 2022 we are attacked by the colorful bug on all sides, whether it is in familiar banal designs or rather in innovative and bold interpretations.

Either way, the very saturated colorfulness as well as the metaphor of rejuvenation that the butterfly symbolizes touches our knee of the stomach, which is addictive.

The runways of the fashion weeks for spring / summer 2022 were again decorated with butterflies.

Chanel, Blumerin, Alberta Private and other super-brands that provided different interpretations of the flying color trend.

Some went for it big and maximalist like Chanel with the chiffon dresses, while others stuck to challenging, revealing and sexy cuts like Blumerin.

Butterflies is a pan, it's beautiful.

They transfer a certain feminine energy to clothing and symbolize in a variety of cultures transformation, hope and freedom.

No wonder we want to re-taste this aesthetic and vibe every time.

In the field of accessories and jewelry, the celebration in general is at its peak, since it is easier for most of us to wear or adorn ourselves with a touch of the butterfly motif than to actually wear it.

The popular insect in the gap can be found on rings, necklaces, earrings, bags, shoes, belts and what not.

In this case you are asked to go with the butterfly look to the end, and thus somehow the kitsch becomes more comfortable.

While some brands have adopted the butterfly motif up close and unreleasing, as has been the practice for years in Lumarin, Emanuel Ungro, AREA and Sophia Webster, others (including the big chains) offer fresher and lighter interpretations whenever the trend strikes back into our lives.

And Pierre?

It's good for us this summer.
