"Israel Today" has learned that Mesika has been chosen to play the lead role in the musical "The Orchestra's Visit", which will be staged in London in the coming months in the West End.
Mesika, who has passed several auditions with great success, continues the success of actor Sasson Gabay, who has already brought Israeli stardust to Broadway when he was cast in the Tony-winning musical in New York - and now she will do so in Europe.
Mesika's meeting with the production of the orchestra's visit, led by producer Orin Wolf, was already about three years ago at a tribute event held in New York to the late playwright and writer Nava Semel. Many Israeli artists, although she did not join the American cast in which Sasson Gabay played and later also his son Adam, but now she can register a particularly impressive achievement.
