In 2022, Longines perpetuates the tradition of accompanying adventurers with its new Longines Spirit Zulu Time model.

This watch celebrates both the pioneering spirit of the brand, represented in the Longines Spirit collection, and is also part of Longines' requirement to offer elegant and highly precise timepieces.

Here, the new model takes its origins and its name from the Longines Zulu Time, created in 1925. This was embellished with an additional hour hand to indicate a second time zone and a Zulu flag on its dial, making reference to the letter Z, which designates universal time in aviation and the armed forces.

This year, the new model displays multiple time zones, unveiling cutting-edge technology that allows independent adjustment of the hour hand in relation to the GMT indication.

The additional time zones are read using a 24-hour hand and a bidirectional rotating bezel also graduated over 24 hours.

A reference to history and a contemporary aesthetic

With a power reserve of 72 hours, this new exclusive in-house Longines movement is chronometer-certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute), in the form of a nod to the five stars stamped on the dial which, in the history of Longines, prove the very high quality of the movement.

In terms of aesthetics, the Longines Spirit Zulu Time is just as refined, with satin-brushed, matte, polished, embossed or engraved details.

This model features a bezel enhanced with a colored ceramic insert, and is available on a matt black, microblasted anthracite or sunray blue dial.

The steel and leather straps are interchangeable, with a folding clasp equipped with a new micro-adjustment system for leather.
