A morning like any other in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan.
Jim, a young man, drops off Kat, his sweetheart, at the foot of the metro which will take him to work.
On the way, they passed not far from a crime scene.
But it is when he lands in a nearby cafe that the gates of hell open.
A virus, relatively benign until then, has just mutated, and transforms its victims into ultra-violent possessed who massacre everything in their path!
The epidemic grows, while Jim tries to join Kat, who herself must fight for her survival against infected who compete in sadism...
