The Berlin public prosecutor's office has accused a lawyer who is said to have falsified her certificates.

You are accused of three commercial fraud and forgery.

According to a statement, the 43-year-old improved her grades with Photoshop software and then successfully applied to three major law firms in Berlin and Munich.

She worked there from 2016 to 2020 and was paid at least 165,000 euros more than she would have earned with truthful information, according to the investigators.

How the public prosecutor calculated this sum is not clear from the report.

The Berlin Bar Association has already withdrawn the woman's admission.
