Man gets 330 times his salary - now he's gone with the money

Transposed digits or incorrect transfers can happen, but with a man from Chile it's about much more than that. He fled with the money.
Money can take away a few worries in one fell swoop – but it's not that easy to get a lot of money.
Winning the lottery can help - a man from Chile got a lot of money in a different way.
His employer paid him
too much wages

However, this is not a transposed number, but a lot of money, which was transferred too much.
He got his
wages for around 26 years
– those responsible didn’t notice that directly.
A man from Chile received 330 times his salary from his employer.
Now he's over the mountains with the money.

Too much salary: the man draws the manager's attention to it
Instead of 500,000 Chilean pesos (the equivalent of 550 euros), a worker at a Chilean meat company received 165,398,851 pesos in May, which corresponds to around 170,000 euros.
So the wages for more than
half a working life

When the man noticed the mistake, he contacted his manager, who informed the human resources department.
The error has not yet been noticed, as the Chilean business newspaper
Diario Financiero
reports, according to

Insider.
The human resources department asked the man to report the error to his bank and arrange for the
overpaid
money to be returned.

The man promised to go to the bank the next day and uncover the error, but he didn't do this and his company couldn't be reached by phone either.
It was only days later that he submitted his
resignation
through his lawyer , the
star reported.
The group has not heard from the former employee since then.
But there should be a criminal complaint against the man.
So far no one has been arrested - the man has disappeared with the money.
