The implementing decree defining the criteria for the granting of the "Capital fund for the support of the excellence of Italian gastronomy and agri-food" was signed by the Minister of Agricultural Policies, Stefano Patuanelli, with a total financial endowment of 56 million euro, of which 25 million for 2022 and 31 million for 2023, under the Budget Law.
The fund is aimed at promoting and supporting the excellence of Italian catering and pastry.
Concessions up to 70% of the investment are envisaged, for a maximum of 30,000 euros per single company, for the purchase of professional machinery and other innovative durable capital goods.
The beneficiaries are catering companies with administration, pastry shops and ice cream parlors registered for at least 10 years in the business register or alternatively those that, in the twelve months preceding the date of publication of the decree, have purchased DOP, IGP, SQNPI certified products. (National quality system of integrated production), SQNZ (National livestock quality system) and organic products.
For catering, the established quota is set at 25% of total purchases, for pastry and ice cream at 5%.
