Two mountaineers, probably of Swiss nationality, died following a fall on the Matterhorn.
The bodies were recovered this morning by the Aosta Valley Mountain Rescue and transported to Cervinia.
The alarm was triggered yesterday due to the non-return downstream of the consortium.
The two fell in the area of the Lion's Crest.
The bodies were found at approximately 3,100 meters above sea level.
The financial police of Cervinia also participated in the operations.
