Our review of The Minions 2: Once Upon a Time Gru, the minions dive into seventies kung fu


CRITICISM – Twelve years after their creation in Me, Despicable and Mean, the yellow creatures in overalls return in a supercharged entertainment.

This is a rare case in the history of animation.

First imagined as mere comic commas to humanize Gru, the endearing antihero of Despicable


released in 2010, the Minions roundly stole the show from their master.

Our dear little yellow capsules, dressed in blue overalls, wearing big welding goggles, are back at the cinema.

Seven years after the first film, we find Kevin, Stuart, Bob and their friends in 1976. Bell-bottom pants, disco and "flower power" triumph happily.
