Before being transformed into a social and cultural center, the Chollet house, in Beausoleil, houses a colorful street art exhibition all summer long.

Maison Charlot, nestled in the heart of the town of Beausoleil (Alpes-Maritimes), is adorned this summer with its most beautiful colors thanks to the works of four local street artists.

Brian Caddy, David Djiango, Faben and Jérémy Besset were invited by the municipality to express themselves freely on the walls of this 19th century building overlooking Monaco.

For several weeks, the artists took possession of the premises to express their talent.

I wrote the history of the house on the walls and I wanted to symbolize with colored threads, the different nationalities who came to build the city of Beausoleil

", explains for example Jérémy Besset to the France Télévisions camera. .

The Nice artist Djiango has dressed the exterior of the estate with works in bluish hues, also to be discovered at night since the artist has used phosphorescent paints.

The inauguration of the exhibition took place on Thursday in the presence of local residents, art lovers and gallery owners, reveals the city of Beausoleil on its Instagram account.

Attached to the Principality of Monaco, the city intends to

"restore a soul"

to the Charlot estate before it is transformed into a social and cultural space.

The house should, in September, begin its metamorphosis led by the Nice architect Marc Barani, to become a cultural center with a media library, an artists' residence and a social center.

In the meantime, the exhibition of the Charlot house is to be discovered this week, by reservation with the Beausoleil Tourist Office.
