(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, JULY 05 - "We are in favor of the government reaching the end of the term and we are working for this, but the government cannot be distorted by proposals that have nothing to do with it".
This was stated by the EPP MEP and coordinator of FI, Antonio Tajani, in a press point at the Eurocamera.
"The cannabis law and loius scholae, which the left wants to impose, are not a priority right now," he added.
To those who asked him if the center-right will present itself united to the vote, Tajani stressed that "the center-right must present itself united as has happened in the vast majority of cities" with the latest administrative ones.
And tomorrow Tajani will see Giorgia Meloni, leader of Fdi and president of Ecr in Strasbourg, who will make a stop at the European Parliament.
"I have no problem talking to Meloni, we are allies even though we are in two different political forces here. Even if we do not forget that Ecr voted for President Roberta Metsola", explained Tajani.
