Lively, with a sweet smile and a sly expression.
The Siamese Central African twins Ervina and Prefina, born on 29 June 2018 and joined by the skull (from the nape of the neck), are well and have crossed the four-year milestone.
They arrived in Italy at the Bambino Gesù pediatric hospital in September 2018.
After much study and preparation they were separated on June 5, 2020 and theirs is the first case in the literature of successful surgery for this type of joint.
They will still need a "skull bone plastic surgery" to complete the surgical cycle, thus remaining in the hospital, but in the meantime the girls' fourth birthday, two years after their separation, was celebrated by everyone at Casa Ronald di Palidoro. the reunited family, including father Jospin and older sister, Achelene.
The father and the elder sister reached the twins, who were in Italy with their mother Hermine, at Christmas 2021 through the hospital, which supports the father in the search for a job.
