(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, 05 JUL - "We have taken a few steps back and the worst of our past has appeared again, but we have always come out of crises better than when we entered them".
US President Joe Biden said this as he opened the 4th of July celebrations with soldiers, veterans and their families at the White House.
"The America project continues.
The America project says: we are all in the same boat", said the president again.
"The rights that we thought protected are no longer protected, the freedoms have been reduced but we will overcome all of this", emphasized Biden.
