In Hagen, two young people fled from the police in a car.
A patrol first became aware of a small group of people around a vehicle on Wednesday night, the police said.
When the people noticed the police, two people got into the car and drove away.
Because the two did not respond to stop signals, the police turned on the blue lights.

The pursued car then accelerated sharply and sometimes ran red traffic lights while trying to escape.
Finally he braked abruptly.
The police discovered a 15-year-old at the wheel and a 14-year-old boy in the passenger seat.
According to initial findings, the car belongs to the passenger's mother.
How the boys got the key is still unclear.
The young people were handed over to their legal guardians.
The police officers had filed criminal charges.
