(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 06 - The legendary US guitarist Carlos Santana collapsed on stage during an outdoor concert near Detroit, Michigan.
The BBC reported it underlining that he was immediately rescued and transferred to a local hospital for observation.
Santana himself then posted on Fb that he "forgot to drink and eat" while the rescuers spoke of a badly related to heat and dehydration.
His manager MichealVrionis then reassured about the guitarist's health conditions, announcing, however, that the show scheduled for today in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, "will be postponed for a while".
A video has been posted on social media showing Santana being helped to leave the stage at Clarkson's Pine Knob Music Theater: in the video, the star greets the audience as she is carried away on a stretcher.
