(ANSA) - TEHRAN, 07 JUL - The Iranian Revolutionary Guards have arrested several foreign diplomats, including a British one, on charges of "espionage".
The Iranian press agency Fars and the state TV reported it.
"The intelligence service of the Revolutionary Guards has identified and arrested diplomats from foreign embassies who were spying in Iran," writes Fars, adding that one of them, a British, was expelled from the country.
But state TV explained that the British diplomat was only expelled from the "zone" where they were arrested in central Iran.
