The new Marvel movie, starring Chris Hamsworth and Natalie Portman, has hit theaters • "We were under tremendous pressure to work on the film," says Oscar-winning director Taika and Ititi

The new Marvel Comics movie "Turn: Love and Thunder," starring Chris Hamsworth and Natalie Portman, will be released today.

The Australian Masworth returns to play the Talpiot-based superhero, based on a god in Norse mythology, who is also known as one of the members of "The Avengers".

After the events in the movies "Infinity War" and "End of the Game", Thor joins the Guardians of the Galaxy and calmly helps them defeat opponents, until he is called to the flag to return to the kingdom ruled by Asgard, when a new villain threatens to eliminate all gods.

Along the way he also surprisingly reunites with his ex-partner Jane (Portman), who has found her way to his formidable hammer to face a terminal fate that threatens her life.

This is the fourth time that Masworth has appeared in a role as a solo film, that is - not including other films in the "Avengers" corporation in the last decade.

This time it is re-directed by Oscar winner Taika and Ititi, who garnered critical acclaim from fans and fans for "Turn: Ragnarok," which came out in 2017 and is considered a huge box office success with revenue of $ 854 million.

The film also stars, among others, Russell Crowe in the comic book version of the Greek god Zeus;

Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie - her turn bequeathed control of Asgard;

And Christian Bale as the supervillain known as the Puppy Slayer of the Gods, a scarred galactic killer.

This is Bale's comeback to superhero movies, having played Batman in director Christopher Nolan's acclaimed "Dark Knight" trilogy.

"We had a lot of pressure ahead of working on the film, because of the original Avengers Thor is the first to get a fourth solo film, and I wanted to bring something different. I always strive to get better with the character," said Masworth during promotion of the film, who is also one of its main producers.

"When we last saw him in the last 'Avengers' movie, Thor was quite confused and lost, although his condition was improving towards the end of the movie. But he still did not understand who he was and what his place was in the universe. Then he decided to take a break for a short time and look for himself."

About the game alongside Crow, the swearer recounted: "I never dreamed the day would come when Russell would reappear on screen in a way that would visually remind him of his movie 'Gladiator,' but with a wink and a lot of self-humor. And Russell went for it. I'm a big fan of him since I started playing. "In his acting abilities, weight and seriousness, and that's how he is in life when you look at him from the side. When we met in the filming, I discovered his great sense of humor, and he positively agreed to everything the director Taika asked him to do."

According to Waititi, his interest in another film about the same character was in combining genres of action, comedy and even romance.

"One of the cool things about Marvel is the openness to a variety of styles in one package," the director said.

"The audience stays on tiptoe, and the characters feel different when seen each time in a different light. When we built the plot we knew the fans would go crazy over the idea, and it connects to the idea we had - a film that feels like an eight's rock metal album."
