A lot can go wrong in job interviews - sometimes it turns out that the position is different than expected, sometimes HR managers had different expectations.
When a job change is pending, it is always an exciting thing, every application process has its own characteristics and so does every
job interview
runs differently.
When conversations get completely out of character, the story is often circulated on various platforms on the internet.
One platform that lends itself to this is
Reddit –
a HR manager recently reported on a job interview that went a little differently than expected.

"Dirty clothes, tousled hair, dirty fingers" - commissioning workers are special
Applicants usually talk about their experiences with job interviews on the internet platforms.
Sometimes
HR
managers share their view of things and this change of
perspective
can be pretty exciting.
An applicant is ten minutes late for an interview on the grounds that he has not checked where the company is.
This is met with incomprehension by the HR manager: "Who the hell doesn't check where he has to go beforehand?"
The position for a commissioning engineer was advertised worldwide.
Commissioners take care of putting machines and systems into operation on site, maintaining them or repairing them.
Applicants for the position should have five years of professional experience and be willing to travel for several months.
"Dirty clothes, messy hair, dirty fingers
," the applicant revealed during the interview, and on top of that he chewed gum the whole time.
Commissioners are "sometimes special" according to the HR manager, but you can ignore it if the rest fits.

“They are probably only looking for 25-year-olds with 15 years of professional experience” – one applicant defends himself
It turned out relatively quickly that the information from the CV did not match the requirements of the position.
For example, stays abroad of more than three weeks are not acceptable for the applicant.
In general, he only wanted to go to countries where the weather was good.
When asked if he hadn't noticed that the
job advertisement
and his
CV
didn't match, the applicant replied: "You're probably only looking for 25-year-olds with 15 years of professional experience anyway.
Nobody can do that anyway."
Turn of the conversation: “I would then like to talk briefly about my desired salary”
For the HR manager, the interview was over at this point, so he also communicated this to the applicant.
Apparently, the applicant thought that the interview was going quite well, since he had one objection: "I would then like to talk briefly about my desired salary".
Perplexed, the HR manager replied that they had
no need
to hire him.
He had to conduct salary negotiations with his current employer.

"Couldn't you have recognized that from your CV?" - Users on the Internet are skeptical
Whether this story really happened is of course not verifiable.
