++ Covid: WHO, 4.6 million infections in 7 days in the world, growing +

(ANSA) - ROME, 07 JUL - The number of new weekly cases of Covid in the world continues to grow.

Over 4.6 million new cases were reported in the week from June 27 to July 3, including 2.4 million in Europe.

Instead, there were 8,100 deaths, down by 12%.

This is what emerges from the new weekly bulletin of the World Health Organization.

    As of 3 July 2022, over 546 million confirmed cases and over 6.3 million deaths globally have been reported.
