James Kane who played Sonny Corleone in the Godfather movie and while in a series of TV roles passed away last night (Wednesday) at the age of 82, the cause of death was not given and his family asked that no further details be released.
Adam Sandler eulogized him and said, "I loved him very much and always wanted to be like him," he added, adding that his films were "the best."
Kahn was known for his smiling appearance and muscular body and was even nominated for an Oscar for his role in Godfather as the son of crime boss Don Corleone.
Before The Godfather came out there was heavy concern among director Francis Ford Coppola but his impressive performance made the film a huge success, in part because of being the set star who connected with everyone.
He left cinema in the 1980s.
In his youth he suffered from drug problems and also got involved with the police sometimes.
