The trace elements are also good for the hair.
A simple hair conditioner
can be made with half a liter of beer and a little water
.
Leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse it out thoroughly.
The result is visible after just a few applications: the hair is strong and shiny.

Some people suffer from brittle or brittle nails.
A
hand bath
made with a mixture of 2 parts beer and 1 part oil (ideally olive) and a tea bag of chamomile can help.

Also works as a foot bath.
Bathing trend beer: dive in and take a deep breath
In some spas it is already a popular wellness experience: the 20-minute
beer bath
.
If a visit to the spa is too much hassle, you can alternatively pour three liters of beer into the tub the next time you take a bath at home.

Soap made from beer
Soap can also be made from beer.
However, this is a bit more complex and requires planning.
You need: 500 g olive oil, 300 g coconut oil and 200 g castor oil, 1 liter beer (preferably a dark one with a high malt content, for example black beer) and 100 g NaOH (sodium hydroxide, available in the pharmacy).
Heat the beer and boil until the liquid is reduced to around 400 g.
Allow the reduction to cool and place in the freezer.
Then mix the oils and heat to about 40 degrees Celsius.
Mix the sodium hydroxide into the frozen beer according to safety instructions.
Add the resulting caustic soda to the oils and thicken with a hand blender.
Finally, pour the mixture into a mold of your choice and let it harden, the beer soap is
ready
