(ANSA) - ROME, 07 JUL - 107,240 new infections from Covid have been registered in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health.
Yesterday 107,786 were infected.
Victims were 94 instead, up from 72 yesterday.
A total of 378,250 swabs were performed, including antigenic and molecular, with the positivity rate of 28.35, stable compared to yesterday.
343 patients are hospitalized in intensive care, 18 more than yesterday.
The daily admissions are 53. The hospitalized in the ordinary wards are 8,552, 332 more than yesterday.
Coronavirus positive Italians are currently 1,198,697, with an increase of 52,663 units.
In total, 19,157,174 people have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic, while the deaths have risen to 168,864.
The discharged and healed are 17,789,613, with an increase of 55,629.
