On the way to Ibiza, border collie dog Jolie falls off the yacht in the middle of a storm.

The skipper can do nothing more.

So she swims for her life.

Murcia (Spain) – The many different “jobs” that they master with flying colors show what extraordinary achievements dogs are capable of.

From drug detection dogs, guide dogs for the blind, film dogs, police dogs, warning dogs in the event of illnesses, rescue dogs and therapy dogs, to name just a few.

But even pure family dogs are capable of great things.

For example, by doing everything possible to get back to their owners somehow, no matter what the cost, when they are separated from their owners.

In doing so, they mobilize all the forces at their disposal.

Dog Jolie is on a boat trip with her owners.

You start from the Spanish mainland and want to sail to the island of Ibiza.

But suddenly the weather changes and a strong storm comes up.

This can happen very quickly, especially in the summer months.

Every move has to be right now, so that no accident happens.

Any help came too late for Jolie.

She falls off the yacht - to initiate a rescue in a storm is like an absurdity.

Bitch swims 200 km in the Mediterranean - and fights for her life for days

According to Spanish newspaper Periódico de Ibiza, the brave and extremely fierce Jolie showed up on a beach near Murcia two days later.

The four-legged friend swam around 200 kilometers in the open sea and just didn't give up.

Despite the strenuous current and presumably sharks.

Visitors who happened to be on the beach spotted the exhausted animal and dragged it ashore.

The local police "La Policía Local de Águilas" was immediately alerted.

In the meantime, her owners had placed a wanted ad.

Luckily, Jolie is microchipped.

Based on this, the police were able to identify their people and inform them that their four-legged friend survived in the open sea.

The video shows the overjoyed and emotional meeting.
